Bowling News.

A meeting of members ef the Feilding Bowling Clab was held in the Municipal Chambers last evening, Mr W. A. L. Bailey presiding. It was decided to borrow £'300 by «ray of mortgage on tbe property of the club, and tbe rales were altered to permit this to be done. Tbe proposal to alter rale 26 to enforce the payment of subscriptions by December Bth in place of February Ist was lost, bat a sub committee were appointed, consisting of the president, vice president and Messrs Bray and Sandilands, to revise the rales and report at a meeting to be held in on tbe first Friday in February . The sab committee will deal with the question of providing for tbe enforcing an earlier payment of tbe subscriptions. It is desired that all subscriptions should be paid without delay as the club are urgently in need of tbe funds.
