Nominations for all Handicaps, including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before THURSD A.V, 9th DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes, nnd not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event, to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of public performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and localities of such performances, and each competitor vending in nomination a must state his handicaps and his position at the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. The remainder of En* trance fee on Acceptance, which can be made on the ground, Other events post entries. Colors mast be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 800 yds in heats. Competitors failing to forward fee at time of nomination will not be handicapped. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z.A.A. Association, and must produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur Events will be run under the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Sale 25, which reads : — " Every competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports." Any Competitor found gnilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any Competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to bis identity and tho correctness of bis description of his performances. The The Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required de* claratiou, and he shall Dot be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each evont, or no first prize ; three, or no second ; four, or no third.
