Nominations for ail Handicaps, including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on. or before THURSDAY, 9th DECEMBER, not later thaa 8.30 p.m. Competitors are r p quested to forward Postal iNotes, and not stamps Two shillings ou each Handicap Event, to be paid ou nomination, accompanied by a statement of public performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates sad localities of such performances, and each competitor sending in nominations must state his handicaps and his position at the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. The remainder of Entrance fee on Acceptance, which can be made on the ground, Other events post entries. Colors must be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yds in heats. Competitors failing to forward fee at time of nomination will not be handicapped. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z.A.A. Association, and mast produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur Events will be run nnder the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rale 25, which reads : — " Every competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this rule renders tho competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports." Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed namt, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any Competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to bis identity and the correctness of bis description of his performances. The The Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each event, or no first prize ; three, or no second ; four, or no third. Entries will be received and sports conducted under the printed roles of the Feildicg Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, prioe Is.
