Weddings.
A quiet wedding was celebrated in St John's Church, Feilding, yesterday, the contracting parties being Mr William MeKee, of the local Post and Telegraph Office, and Miss Caroline Uldine Vernio Cantelin, also of Feilding. The Rev G. l\ Davys conducted the ceremony. Miss I K. Wilkinson acted as bridesmaid and Mr J. Walton as best man. A pretty wedding was celebrated in St. James' Church, Halcoinbe, yesterday afternoon, the contracting parties being Mr A. Bosher, of Makino, and Miss Charlotte Abbiss, third daughter of Joseph Abbiss, Esq., of Wai tuna West. The officiating clergyman was the Itev G, I', Davys, M.A. The weather fortunately was fine though windy. The bride, who looked most charming, was dressed in crone serge, and carried a beau ti ft' l bridal bouquet the gift of Mrs J. Wilson, of Makino, she also wore a gold brooch, a gift of tin; bridegroom. The bride was given away by her father. The bridesmaids were Miss Alice Abbiss, sister of the bride, who was prettily attired in a fawn dress with pink silk trimmings, and Miss Holder, niece of the bridegroom, who was dressed in a pretty grey lustre with white silk trimmings, they both wore pretty white hats with late lillies of the valley, which reflected great credit on the milliner. Miss Diamond, of U.F.C.A., Feilding. Both bridesmaids wore gold brooches the gifts of the bridegroom, and carried a bouquet, the gift of Mrs J. Wilson. The bridegroom was attended by his brother Mr H. Bosher as best man. Great interest was taken in the wedding. The bride and bridegroom were the recipients of numerous presents from their many friends. The happy cpuple left by the a,aO train amidst a shpwer of rice en route for Napier.
