(Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 4. Replying; to the Hon. Mr Reeves, the Minister for Education said that the Colonial Treasurer would brin* up the question of the renewal of the San Francisco mail eervice contract this session. The Minister for Education moved the necond reading of the Coroners Bill, which was agreed to. The second reading of the Defamation Bill was agreed to on the motion of the Hon. Mr Feldwick. The Council adjourned at 4 p.m. till 7.30 p.m.
