The rmployprs in the engineering trad* are meeting at ManchoKter to arrange a definite course of action in connection with the strike.
A manifesto baa been issued by the Amalgamated Society of Engiaeers which asnerts tbe men have been asked to huo for a dishonorable peace. It also nfaftos X'lo,ooo will be required weekly by tbe engineer* in order to continue tbo utrug^lo.
The executive of tbe Boilermakers and Iron and Stoel Ship-builders Association hits filled tho places vacated by the London boilcrmakcrs who recently struck work for eight hours despite the ansociatiou'B refusal to grant strike pay.
