Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes, and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event, to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of public per forma" ers for the last two years (matches included) with dates and localities of t uch performances, and each competitor sending in nominations must state his handicaps and his position at the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. The remainder of Entrance fee on Acceptance, which can bo made ou tbe ground, Other events post entries. Colors must be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yds in beats. Competitors failing to forward fee at time of nomination will not be handicapped. Amateurs must belong to a Club affili ated with tbe N.Z.A.A. Association, and must produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. Alt Amateur Events will be run under tbe New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules. Tbe particular attention of com petit ors is drawn to Rule 25, which reacts : — " Every competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to tbe knees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to elbow), aud loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this rule renders tbe competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports." Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require auy Competitor, cither before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his idpntity and tho correctness of his description of his performances. Tho Tbe Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who bhall refuse to make tbe required declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim nny prize.
