The Mini.-ter for Education moved the second reading of the Debt* Recovery Limitation Jh]\, which was designed to shorten time from six years to two, within which fictions for debt could be brought and, provided that there should be no recovery of debt under £20 for goods sold, he did not think that the time of Courts should ba so often used by creditors to recover debts. The second reading was carried, and the Bill was referred to the Statute Be vision Committee. The Council adjourned at 4 p.m.
