o(Per Press Association.) Dunxdin October 26. At the Presbyterian Synod, the Moderator's address way delivered 7 by the Rev W. Wills, who iook for hia sabject " The Church in Relation to its Creed," and in connection with it spoke in justification of tbe position adopted by the Synod on the question of marriage with deceased wife's sister. Tbe report of tbe Committee on Bible reading in schools was submitted, and after a lengthy debate tbe Synod resolved to recommend tbe committee to take steps with the other* interested to secure tbe formation of a National Scripture Instruction in Schools League, aud secnre a plebiscite on tbe question of the introduction of the Scripture Lesson Book in public schools.
