THE STOCK MARKET.
F. R. Jackson and Co.'s Wanganui stock report: — We had a large entry of stock at St. Hill street ; we sold all out with tbe exception of two pens of sheep. The competition was brisk throughout, and prices were without change. We quote : — Cattle— Fat cows, L 3 Is; 3 year-old bullocks, L 3 2s 6d to L 4 ; 2 year-olds, L 2 to L 2 2s 6d ; cows and calves, 21s ; yearlings, 26s ; weaners, 12s 5dSbeep— Store wethars, 10s 6d to 12s 3d ; fat wethers, 12s 7d. 12s lid to 13b 7d ; fat ewes, 9s 6d to 10s sd ; shorn fat ewes, 6s 6d ; store ewes, 7s. Pigs— Large pork, LI 0s 6d to LI 2s ; porkers, 14s to 16s 9d ; small pigs, 7s 6d. Poultry— Fowls, 3s to 4s ; ducks, 3s to 8s 6d ; turkeys, 7s to 9s tbe couple.
