Aquatic News.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 23. C. Chapman (of the Waiwera Boating Club, Canterbury), amateur sculling champion of New Zealand, left for Sydney by the Tarawera to night, to compete in several sculling events on Australian waters. He will first undergo about six weeks' coaching and training at the hands of Chris Neilson, the wellknown New South Wales professional scu'ler. Chapman will make special preparation for the race for tho amateur championship of Victoria, which takes place on December 18th.
