Native Land Troubles.
(Per Press Association ) •V'kluxqton, October 25. A deputation, representing the majority of Maori tribes, delegates from t ae Native Parliament, waited on the Prem.er to day to lay before him native land grievance!. All the Maori and several European members were present. The proceedings occupied two and a half honrt. The Premier intimated the intention of the Government abolishing the Land Courts, aad strongly advised tie Maoris to sell no more land. He said only through J'trliitnent could redress he obtained. New Zealand was m stlf {governing colony and it w»s useless appealing to the Home Govermeok in the matter. He appealed to the natives tp astiM Europeans in passing legislation! whioh, would be necessary, and saiq tl^ey m,n«| eh>pt to the t-tpislajjive Council ,hone w^q would be in uni*on with thim, in t^o marter.
