Two shillings on each Handicap Event, to be paid on nomination, accompanied kj a atatemect of public performances for the Jaat tiro years (zaatches included) with dates and localities of anoh perform mances, and ench competitor sending in nominations must state his handicaps and his position at the finish of each race, otherwise he will render himself liable to disqualification. The Committee reserve the right to ran any race under 800 yds in heats. Competitors failing to for* ward fee at tide of uomination^will not be handicapped. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z.A.A. Association, and must produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur Events will be run under the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Ruled. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads : — " Every competitor mnet wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports." Any Competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to re* quire any Competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his description of bis performances. The The Committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to mako the required de« claration, and he shall not be entitled to claim auy prize-.
