The Sydney Morning Herald, while unreservedly congratulating Mr Seddon on the favorable account of the year's finances which he has been able to present to Parliament, and while recognising > the enterprise shown in the proposals for i development, says the project for remodelling the steam mail services is one as to which New South Wales will have something to say. It ventures to think that before Mr Seddon gets all his shipping plans into full working order, his experience in intercolonial diplomacy will have advanced considerably beyond its present ! stage.
