Sad Death from Burning.

_/ — — (Per Press Association.) Auckland, This Day. A little girl named Florence Margaret Renner, aged seven years, a daughter of Henry Clay Rsnner, has been burned to death of Northern Aoroa boarding-house Northern Wairoa. While lighting a firs her nightdress caught, and she was so injured that she succumbed. At the inquest it transpired that her father heard screams and ran out at once. Deceased was in the back yard, her nightdress being on fire. Her brother Tommy had got one arm rouad her seek and was beating the fire out with the other. Deceased died in the afternoon. She told her father she ran outside to get at a tub of water, aud she ran away from her brother for fear of setting him on fire. Thomas Henry Renner, aged 10, said he ran after his sister, but she ran away and said : " Don't come near me Tommy you'll be burnt." His hand was badly burnt in beating the flames. Witness had got his arm in a sling, and the Coroner said he was a brave little fellow and had done all he could. Death resulted from shock, and the jury returned a verdict in accordance with the doctor's evidence, saying that no blame wan attachable to anyone. For some time, I have suffered with rheumatism and tried every imaginable remedy, without effect. Mr F. Q. S. Wells ac}v;sed me to try Chamberlain's Pain Balm, telling me that \i cared many cases of long standing like mine.
