Bowling News.
The New Plymouth Bowling Green will be opened on Thursday next. The Palmerston Bowling Club will open their Green on Wednesday next. It was decided to invite tbe Wanganui, Feildiug, Danevirke, and Marlon Club* to be present at the opening ceremony, which will be performed by the Mayor at 2.20. Mr Sherwill, secretary of the Feilding Bowling Club, received this morning from the secretary of tbe Palmerston Clab an official invitation for the members of tbe Feilding Club to be present. Probably three rinks will attend. Given fine weather and other favorable conditions the Feilding Green will pro bably be opened on Wednesday Oct. 20th.
