(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 7. The Speaker was presented to His Excellency by the Minister for Education. His Excellency congratulated the Speaker on his re election. A motion by the Minister that in the event of the House of Representatives passinp a resolution to tbe same effect, no liquor should thereafter be sold on Sundays in the Parliamentary Buildings during the present session of Parliament was lost by 23 to 13.
