THE DISQUALIFIED PLAYERS. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, October 3. At a special meeting of the Otago Ragby Union last night, the question of the disqualification of three members of the New Zealand team was considered, and it was resolved, That this Union declines to take any action in the matter of Harris' disqualification until it is placed in possession of the evidence en which the New Zealand Union based its judgment. It was resolved that, although this Uuioo ia not satisfied with the manage ment of the New Zealand Union, it deems it undesirable to proceed further at present in the proposal tcr disaffiliai ion from the New Zealand Union beyond ascertaining the views ol the other South Island uuions on the matter of the j formation of a South Island Alliance.
