(Per Press Association). Sydney, October 1. Work has been temporarily stopped in the Wickham Colliery owing to farther extensive falls in the abandoned workings. One hundred and sixty men were working in the other portions of the pit, when an enormous rash of air and dust extinguished all the lights. The men in a panic rushed the shafts, bat fortunately all escaped without injory.
