Messrs F. R JockHon and Co., of Wanganui report : — We had a good entry of useful sheep at St. Hill Street sale on Wednesday, and they all sold at improved values, the biddiug beiugvery brisk. A limited number of cattle were yarded, but the biddiug for them was dull aud not m«ch business was done. We bad a large entry of pigs which Bold at current rates. Poultry sold well on Saturday. Cattle— Fat bullocks, £5 ss; steerg, £2 15s; milch cows, £3 to £4 ; old cows, 25« ; weaners, 16s. Sheep— Fat wethers, 12s Id ; good store wethers, 11s Id to 11s 5d ; ewes and ewes ond lamb, 10s the couple ; hoggets, 7« Bd, 8s 3d, up to 10s; culls, 3s 9d ; a few prime fat lambs, lls Id. Pigs— Baconerg, 35s to 39s ; porkers, 19s to 20s 6d ; stores, 16s Od to 18s 6d ; small pigs, 5s to 6s. Poultry— Fowls, 2s 9d to 4s ; turkey gobblers, 9s ; turkey hens, 5s 7d per pair.
