At the Wellington Land Board to day Me«Brs Stevens aud Field, M's.H.R, strongly expressed tbeir disapprnvi*l of the regulations governing the question of the classification of laud under the Land Act, and said tho Board whs so bound down by these regulation* that they would sooner resign than hii bruit to them- Mr Steveus moved, and Mr Field seconded, That the new survey remila tions for the classification of land he not udopted, aud thnt thu Board tual<c its own regulitions. The discussion on the. subject was adjourned.
