A Determined Attempt at Suicide.

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, September 29. Mark Coe, a carpenter, living in the Karangahape road, attempted to commit suicide by opening a vein in bin leg with a penknife. He bad nearly bled to death before be was found. Every room in the house was splashed with blood. He wag taken to the Hospital Coe bad a quarrel with his wife in the morning, and she went to a solicitor to get a separation order. She informed her husband what she bad * done, and it it believed this so exasperated him that be attempted to kill himself. He was sober and had not touched drink for a month.
