Tongariro in Eruption.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland. This Day.
Earthquake shocks commenced at Taupo on Thursday evening about 7.30, followed by numerous earth tremors •luring the night, and also on Friday. The mountain was in eruption at intervals .Yusterday, Evidently the red crater 01 Tongariro is nctive, also Temaic an! N'gauruhoe. Not the slightest damage reported locally.
