THE AVERAGES OF STODDART'S TEAM. TROTT HEADS THE ENGLISH BOWLING. (Per Press Association.) London, Sept. 17Following are the batting averageg of the members of Stoddart's team, which have been compiled in connection with first class matches in English cricket in the season just closed : Ford, first, with 58 runs per innings ; Bruc6 and McLaren, second and third respectively, with 51 each ; Ranjitsinbji, fifth, 45 ; Abel, sixth, 44; Hayward, 38; Wain wrigbt, Hirst and Mason, 35 each; Stoddart, 30 ; Sterer, 27 ; Board, 22 ; Briggs, 17 ; Hearne, 13 ; Richardsen, 11.

Bowling Analysis.— A. E. Trott, first, with 50 wickets, at a cost of 13 J per wicket; Richardson, third, with 273 wickets for 14£ runs. Briggg' average isl6J; Hearne's 17 J ; Hayward's 18; Mason's, 22| ; Wainwright and Hirst's, 23 each.
