Golf Notes.
At the Palmerston Golf Tournament on Wednesday, in the semi-fields of the men's 18 hole competition, A. Duncan beat L. Tripp by 8 up and 1 to play, and Harold beat Hodson by 4 up and 2 to play. In the third round of the ladies' open tournament Miss Wilson beat Miss Todd 4 up and 3 to play, and Mrs L. Abraham beat Mrs Still 2 np and 1 to play. The match between the Mana watu and Wellington Golf Clubs against Wellington and other clubs was easily won by the latUr by 14 up. Manawatu and Wellington, etc. Wanganui. J. Harold 0 D. Pryde 1 G.
