I From Oar Own Correspondent I A committee meeting of the AshurstPobaagina Hack Racing Club was held in the Masonic Hotel on Satnrday even* ing last ; Messrs A. Achesoc Gray (chairman), J. Piercy, G. H. R. Phillpotts, F. Gorringe, C. Selby, G. Ad«<?tt, J. Pa ton, T. Gardiner, A. Pringle, P Hanlon, G. Rumble, and T. Symonds being present. Correspondence was received from the Wanginni Jockey Club, stating that the programme submitted hid received the approval of the Jockey Clnb ; also, re Sir George Clifford, suggesting to cease issuing free passes to jockeys. It was decided that in the event of the clnb reserving to themselves the right of keeping the lawu gates ; also, that the suggestion of Sir George Clifford be adopted. Mr D. H. Roberts accepted tfae office of timekeeper. Mr Simson wrote requesting that the disqualification of himself and horse Stock boy and Badger be removed. It was decided to take no notice of Mr Simson's letter. Mr J. E. Henry was appointed permanent bandicapper at £15 per day. Mr E. Wood, with Say well's machine, was appointed starter. P. Ban lon's account, £2 sa, was passed for payment. Meters G. Adsett, T. Gardiner, J. Paton, and P. Hanlon were appointed a committee to draw up speci6cations fox the necessary fencing to be done on the course. Messrs G. Mordant and G. Watson were duly elected members of the club,
