Sir, — I see by last night's Star that your Rongotea correspondent blames me for not informing the Awahuri players that Rongotea was coming over to play a game with Awahuri on Saturday ; last In defence I must say that I did ' j not hare any word trom the Rod go tea I Clnb whatevrr, uutil Friday evening j when, coming out from Feildmg, I saw two Rongoteft players, who told me that they were coming over. On so short a notice it was impossible to get a team together as men must have a i few days notice iv order to make j arrjiugements to get off half a day.
