A council of Afridia was held at Tirah and refused Moilah Akbar's argent appeal to attack Jamrud or Saomn. The conncil replied that the crops were ready to cat, and the Afridis; were Dot able to muster a large gathering while at present, in consequence cf the fighting, there was mourning in every house.
