The Native Rebellion in India.
(Per Press Association.) I Calcutta, September 7. Mollah H add ii has dispersed bis forces, Mohroand, on the British frontier, i having declined to join in tbe revolt. Pears have been engendered among tbe rebels by the despatch of a punitive force against them, which overawed the tribesmen for tbe time being, and it is unlikely that further risings will take place. The Ameer of Afghanistan's troops ar* dispersing disaffected tribesmen and preventing them from joining the rebels, thus crippling the Mollahs power. A council of Afridia was held at Tirah and refused Moilah Akbar's argent appeal to attack Jamrud or Saomn. The conncil replied that the crops were ready to cat, and the Afridis; were Dot able to muster a large gathering while at present, in consequence cf the fighting, there was mourning in every house.
