The Mediterranean Squadron.
A SPECIAL SERVICE VESSEL ASHORE. (Per Press Association.) Constantinople Sept. 7, H.M.S. Itnogeue, a small special service vessel attached to tbe Mediterranean Squadron, has cone ashore on a sand bank off San Stefano, in tbe Sea of Marmora. A body of Turkish Militia, assisted by four tugs, unsuccessfully attempted to get the vessel off. Sir Phillip Currie, British Ambassador at Constantinople, was on board at the time of the accident.
