[ fPer Press Association.) Auckland, Sept. 4. Messrs A. Buckland and Sour report that at Remuera oa Thursday dairy cowb at profit were from £4 to" £6 lOii, dry cows from £1 8s fid to £2 l^s 6d, young bulls £2 10s to £4 each. Fat cattle were from 15s to 18s the 1001 b ; steers were from £5 5s to £9 2s o'd, cows £6 12s 6d to £6 10s each. Wethers were from 9s to 11s 9d, ewes, 9s, Us 9d, hoggets, 8s 8d to 8s 9d, ewes with lamb at side 8s each. Heavy pigs brought up to £3 15g, porkers, £1 to £1 11s, woaners Cs and 7s, stores 14s to 16s each

The Egmont Farmers' Union report: —At Stratford, ou 27th August, abont tbe usual number of cattle came forward. There was a better enquiry for young stock, but dry cows and backward dairy cows were hard to place. Our monthly horse fair held on tbe 28th August was well attended by buyers. We submitted a large number of hordes, and bidding for draughts and good trap horses was spirited, but anything weedy was seglectod. For the Hawera sale on the Ist inst., fully the advertised number of stock came forward, but tbe cattle were not up to our usual Hawera quality, and none of tbe beef was very prime. The sheep were good ijuality, and bidding tor those and fat bullocks was better tban than of Ute. At oar monthly sale at Okaiawa on tbo 2nd inst. tbe bulk of tbe stock yarded were cows and heifers. There was a good attendance, and springers and heifers wer* keenly competed for.
