Frederick Wood died in the hospital yesterday from injuring received while I trying to put out a fire at the Upper Junction. CARTruTo.v, August 31. At a meeting of the creditors of Rupert Fairbrother to day it was resolved to pay Messrs Cook and Gray 5 per cent, on the moneys collected by them and not on the stock ; also to pay Messrs Stout and Findlay's costs when taxed. A further resolution was carried tD pay Mrs Fairbrother's costs out of ihe es tat*>. No Wellington creditors were present.
