St John and Hayman's Company.

Tbe aboTe company which has jnsfc completed a successful season at the Wellington Opera House will open in Feilding for a short season at the Atsembly Rooms on Wednesday next. Miss Dora Marty n, as the boy Ned, was well cast ; her conception of the part was consistent and her death scene -was one of tbe most touching yet withal simple bits of acting seen for many a day. Mr Lrve Haymas, as Simon Jacobs, gave a capital representation of the Jew, bringing out the lights and Bhades of the character in a manner that made tbe audienoe roar with laughter. Mr Bert Bailey was well cast as Jack Peyton tbe vagabond, and and in many passages he rose to the height of Stirling histrionic power, and rte\\ deserved the hearty plaudits, in which bis efforts were greeted,' 1 The company is a very strong one. and as it is some time since tbe Feilding pnblio has bad a visit from a good company, crowded houses should be the result;
