Working Hours in England.
(Per Preqs Association.) London, August 7. Tbe Federation of Employers has declined to confer with the Federated Trades upon tbe question of either gradual or immediate reduction of work* iug hours. The Society of Engineers declare there ia a prospect of an early apeal to the Board of Trade to intervene. The London County Counoil has coax ceded to their employees an eight hours' day.
