o (Per Press Association.) Constantinople, August 4. The terms of peace have been settled, except as to tbe method of evacuation of Thessaly by tbe Turkish forces. Tbe Porte claims the withdrawal should only be made on tbe proportionate payment of the indemnity, bnt the Ambassador dissent to Turkey's claim. Athens, August 5. Fighting bas taken place b n tween the Turkish, soldiers and tbe peasants in tbe mountain country of Kalarrytes in north-west Thessaly near the border of Epirus. The Turks are reported to bave suffered considerably. London, August 5. Renter's correspondent in Crete states the admiral in command of tbe combined fleets is preparing to oppose tbe entry of the Turkish squadron in Cretan waters. The Turkish squadron is now at Mitylene.
