An Unsolved Mystery.
Says the Wellington Post:— ln con section with the as yet unsolved mystery of the disappearance of Mr H. Satber'ey from Blenheim, a Nelson paper states that it is probable that a Blenheim lady, who was recently on a Tisit to Nelson, and who has now returned to Blenheim, may throw some light on the mystery. She informed a Nelson friend that one night previous to leavin? Blenheim (she does not remember the exact date) she ■aw two men carrying another, and they placod the latter in a boat which was lying in the river at the time. She .•cognised the two men who were catrying the third, and believes that she could identify them. Tho Blenheim papers have been greatly exercised over the apparent failure of the Police Department to send a detective to investigate the affair, and it came as a surprise to everyone in the town, including even the local police, to learn that Detective Cox has been in Blenheim for a week. His incognito has evidently been preserved with remarkable success
