In a match between Middlesex and Somersetshire, Stoddart, playing for tbe former county, made 109. Playing in tbe match Surrey v. Nottinghamshire, Abel put up 215 runs. In the match Gloucester v. Sussex, Murdoch scored 130 for the latter.
