On receiving notice of delivery of sleepers the Railway Storekeeper, Wanganui, will arrange for the Inspector to pass and brand the sleepers, and for such as pass inspection, payment will be made within twenty-eight days, or as near as may be, of the Storekeeper's certificate. Condemned sleepers must be removed within fourteen days of notice from the Inspector, failing which they will be forfeited and become the property of the Railway Department. The Department reserves to itself the right to discontinue the purchase of sleepers under this notice at any time, upon giving one month 'b notice of their intention to do so.— By Order, T.
