Colonial Troops at Home

(Per Press Association.) London, July 30 At the banquet tendered by the New South Wales residents in London to that colony's troops, Colonel Button, formerly Commandant of New South Wales, said the Army had! much to learn from the colonials in their profession. He expressed the opinion that it wonld be impossible to find a finer body of men than the colonial troops. The Chairman mentioned that Mr Chamberlain would shortly announco a scheme for an interchange of forces, a colonial detachment being sent to England and regular troops replacing them in the colonies. Major Lassetter, in command of the New South Wales contingent, said his colony was prepared to help defend any corner of the world.
