NOTICE is hereby given that the Leases of 91 Sections in the above mentioned township will be offered at auction at the Survey Office, Wanganui, on TUESDAY, the 27th July, 1897, at 11 a.m. The term of the leases is 21 years, with right of renewal for a further term of 21 years. The areas range from one rood to 30 acres, and the upset rentals from £1 to JES per annum. This township is situated on the Wanganui river about 56 miles from Wanganui, and is the present inland terminus of the river steamboat service and the point of junction with tbe coach services connecting with Taupo and Rotorua. The soil and climate are specially favourable for the cultivation ot fruit and farm produce. These and other considerations indicate that the place will develop into b place of some commercial importance, and that owing to its genial and healthy climate and many attractions it will become yearly more popular as i a place of resort.
