The Weather.
Captain Edwin wired to-day : — Wind between NW. and S. and W. at all places. Barometer fall everywhere. Heavy westerly galas witb rain and cold weather are to be expscted in all parts of the country and snow on all high country in the South Island. Very low pressure was registered at Ly ttelton at 4 a.m., the barometer there reaching 28-90— tbe lowest since 6th January, 1896.
