The Engineers' Strike.
[Per Press Association] London, July 14. | Forty engineering firms in London . have locked out their employees wbo 1 belong to the Amalgamated Engineers- | five other firms conceded the demands , of tbe men for an right hours day. A widespread struggle between the masters and men is commencing in the engineering establishments on the Tyne and Clyde. Later. 75,000 members of tho Engineer's Association bave strnck or are locked out at the different centres.
