Football Notes.
The following team will represent the Unionists against Alhambra at Palmertton oa Wednesday next :— Full back, A, Reads ; three-quarters, A. R. Toy, J. •Tobinson, v 7. Baker ; five-eighth, D. Foster ; half, E. Haybittle ; forwards, J. Walton, D. Morris (wings), W. Fitch, T. Bramwell, M. Brunette, W. Bramwell, D. Reid, K. Foster. The coach will leave the Square at 1 o'clock sharp, and all players are requested to be punctual. At Wellington on Saturday Melrose defeated Wellington by 27 points to nil, and Athletics defeated Poneke by S points to nil. On Saturday the Unions (Masterton) defeated Carterton by 6 points to 8.
