(Per Press Association.^ lIniMiANE, July 8. In the Assembly Mr G'assey moved the second reading of the P^lcctorate Amendment Bill providing for one man one vote. The Acting Premier carried an amendment that it would not bo expedient to adopt the one vote system unless tho Bill also embodied tho principle of equality of voting. Sydney, July 8. The Kew Zealand Loan ard Mercantile Agency Company has leased its stores in Bridge street, and token larger premise at P.vrmont, to accommodate its growing business.
