Interesting to Vine-growers.
(Per Presa Association) Auckland, July 7. ; Captain Brown, Government Euto- ! mologist, baa, while engaged in destroying vines infested with phylloxera, found a number of mealy bugs dead with small ' perforations in their bodies, showing ' that the work in done by small parasite. ' A few live mealy bngs on the vine were ' collected, so that Captain Brown may j rear the parasite for distribution in the infested districts.
