WELLINGTON RACES.

The following are tbe results of tbe races ran after we went to press yesterday afternoon : — Handicap Hurdles —Tally ho 1, Napoleon 2, Flirt 3. All started. Napoleon, Rhoderick Dbu and Red berry led for the first round, but opposite tbe stand Tally-bo caught tbe field and led into tbe straight, winning ratber easily by about two lengtbs. Time, 4min 16sec. Dividend, £4 14s. Maiden Steeplechase - Coastguard 1, Tricky Jack 2. Only starters. The borsea cantered for three parts of tbe journey when tbe pace improved. Tbe pair raced together until a furlong from home, when Coastguard drew on t and woo easily, No time was taken. Dividend, £1 10«. Hunters' Hurdles—Violence 1, Coastguard 2, Tricky Jack 3 Rainbow was scratched Claymore when in tbe van fell at tbe last hurdle, and Violence won easily. Time, iJmiu 22sec. Dividend, el 17s. Maiden Hack Race—Suudial 1, Christmas Eve 2, First Shot 3. All started but Sovereign and Mizpah. Good race; won by half a length. Dividend, £3 17». Parliamentary Handicap—Martyrdom 1, Bonnie Blue 2, Sir Agnes 3. All started but Mamer. Won by half a length after a slashing finish. Time, 2min 6 4 ssec. Dividend, £5 19s. First Hack Handicap—Ruamabunga 1, Swordfish 2, The Guardsman 3. All started but Sherwood, Awatere, Totia and Raupo 11. Won by half a length. Time, 2min 6sec. Dividend, £22 10s.
