Tbe attendance was unusually large. There was , the keenest competition, amongst whom were American and German buyers. Sbafty and greasy merinos sold five per cent, above tbe highest prices realised . at the May series of sales. Other sorts were very firm, but the prices were ] unchanged. The Americans bought ' very freely for immediate shipment.
