Threatened Engineers' Strike.
(Per Press Association) London, July 8. In consequence of the Amalgamated Engineers' Association, London, continuing to insist on their demands for ei-ht hours a day, the Employers' Federation have intimated that in the event of a strike they will immediately enforce a reduction of 25 per cent, to retard tbe unionism of the employes.
