Feilding Wesleyan Circuit

The quarterly meeting of the Feilding and Sandon Weßleyan circuit was held at RoDgotea on Wednesday afternoon. There were present Revi C. Abernethy G. S- Harper, and C. C. Harrison with thirteen laymen. The income for the quarter showed a satisfactory increase, and bad it not heen for tbe heavy removal expensea connected with t.be coming of the senior Minister from Canterbury would have been in excess of expenditure. It was reported that a buggy for the use ot the senior minister had been purchased during the quarter by tbe Sandon md RoDgotea part of the cirouit. Also that in uddiiion to ordinary income the sum £13 13* 4d bad been raised by meant of " Self denial," in aid of the Home Mission fund, Ii was decided to alter (he hour of Sunday service at Cheltenham from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It was reported that since holding the services there in the evening the attend* ance had increased very largely, and the collections for the last quarter were nearly three times as much as previously. It was also decided to hold services at Nikau on three Mondays each month instead of two as before. Special services are to be held during the coming quarter at Saneon. Rongotea and Feilding.
