Awahuri Dairy Company (Limited.)
A largely meeting of shareholders was held at Newberry Hall, Ta«i.ni, 6n TuswHiy evening, Mr Guy, *■ 'iclinr lor tlit Coiup.any, b«ini» in aiti ndaiico Mr H. T. frlygor occupied tho chair, and baviug stated that the Company bad been duly registered, relied upon the shareholder* to eleottbe Directors for the ensaiog year. Messrs A. i.'ainpbfcH. 11. Scut, H. T. Flyger, Grave, 8. Saanders, J. Bennett, and A. H. Briscoe were elected to the position of Directors, A. H. Briscoe, treasurer, A. , C. Beanutt, secretary. The Chairman then intimated that several Wellington firms bad taken shares and pointed out that the articles of the Company had been drawn specially to favor the milk suppliers, and that the articles were the same practically as those of the Cambeltown Dairy Company. Discussion took place as to what site the Directors should select from the nameroua offers, and the recommendation of the meeting to the Directors was in favor of a site on Mr Andrew Campbell's property, where artesian water and drainage can be obtained at very little cost. A vote of tbanka to the Chairman closed the meeting, and the Directors met immediately afterwards when they decided to inspect the sites offered this week — Standard.
