Wreck of the Steamer Aden.
(Per Press Association.) London, July 1. After the Aden struok the situation was rendered all the more terrible by the increasing force of the monsoon which was blowing when the disaster happened. The lifeboat and ship's gig were driven away immediately they were lowered. The last boat which left the ship with the woman and children has not since been beard of. Heavy seas broke over the Aden as she lay ob the reef and washed the weakest overboard. There were no signs of succour. The rations ran short, and were gradually curtailed from day to day. Passing vessels were seen on leveral occasions, but all attempts to attract their attention failed. The people aboard were in despair and the rations were almost exhausted when the Indian Government steamer Mayo rescued them.
